This Subscription Policy outlines the terms governing all subscription plans, billing cycles, upgrades, downgrades, renewals, and cancellations for KulRakshak's services. 1) Introduction

This Subscription Policy ("Policy") governs the subscription plans, billing, payment, renewal, cancellation, and related terms applicable to the services offered by KulRakshak ("we," "our," "us," or "Company") through the website at https://kulrakshak.com (the "Website") and all associated platforms.

This Policy forms an integral part of and should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms and Conditions, this Subscription Policy shall prevail with respect to subscription-related matters.

By subscribing to any KulRakshak plan or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Subscription Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not subscribe to or use our paid Services.

KulRakshak reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes affecting existing subscribers, we will provide at least fifteen (15) days' prior notice via email or in-app notification.

2) Subscription Plans & Services

KulRakshak offers multiple subscription tiers designed to meet the varying needs of individuals and families at different stages of their financial journey. Each plan provides access to a defined set of features and services.

Plan Tiers & Differentiation

  • Plans are differentiated by features, storage capacity, number of nominees, consultation hours, and support levels

  • Custom enterprise or family office plans may be available upon request
  • Add-on services (asset recovery, claim assistance) may be purchased separately or bundled with higher-tier plans
  • KulRakshak may introduce new plans, modify existing plans, or retire plans at its discretion

The specific features, limits, and pricing applicable to each plan will be clearly displayed on the Website at the time of subscription. Any representations made on the Website at the time of your purchase will form part of your subscription agreement.

  • Some KulRakshak services — such as asset recovery, claim assistance, and one-time consultation — may be offered on a project or engagement basis rather than as a subscription. These are governed by separate service agreements and are not covered by this Subscription Policy.

3) Subscription Registration & Activation

To subscribe to a KulRakshak plan, you must first create a user account on the Website. The subscription process involves the following steps:

  2. Plan Selection: Browse available subscription plans on the pricing page, compare features and pricing, and select the plan that best suits your needs
  3. Billing Cycle Selection: Choose your preferred billing cycle — monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual (availability may vary by plan)
  4. Payment Information: Enter your payment details through our secure payment gateway. We accept UPI, net banking, credit cards, debit cards, and other supported payment methods
  5. Review & Confirm: Review your plan selection, billing cycle, total amount (including applicable taxes), and confirm your subscription
  6. Activation: Upon successful payment, your subscription will be activated immediately, and you will receive a confirmation email with your plan details, billing date, and access instructions

Your subscription is considered active from the date of successful payment confirmation. Access to subscription features will be granted immediately upon activation, unless otherwise specified for specific plan tiers.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration and subscription is accurate, current, and complete. KulRakshak is not liable for any service disruption resulting from inaccurate or outdated account or payment information.

4) Billing Cycles & Payment Terms

KulRakshak offers flexible billing cycles to accommodate different preferences and budgets. The following billing options may be available depending on the plan you select:

Available Billing Cycles

  • Monthly: Billed once every calendar month from the date of subscription activation
  • Quarterly: Billed once every three (3) months from the date of activation
  • Semi-Annual: Billed once every six (6) months from the date of activation
  • Annual: Billed once every twelve (12) months from the date of activation — typically offered at a discounted rate

Payment Details

  • All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR)
  • Prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
  • Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle
  • Accepted methods: UPI, net banking, credit cards, debit cards, wallets, and auto-debit mandates
  • You will receive an invoice/receipt via email for each payment

Longer billing cycles (quarterly, semi-annual, annual) may be offered at discounted rates compared to the monthly billing option. The specific discount, if any, will be clearly displayed on the pricing page at the time of subscription.

All payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. KulRakshak does not directly store your full credit card, debit card, or bank account details on its servers. Payment data is handled and secured by our payment processing partners in accordance with applicable security standards.

5) Automatic Renewal

All KulRakshak subscription plans are set to auto-renew by default at the end of each billing cycle, unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date. This ensures uninterrupted access to your Digital Vault, documents, and all subscription features.

🔄 How Auto-Renewal Works:

  • Your subscription will automatically renew for the same plan and billing cycle at the then-current price at the time of renewal
  • The renewal charge will be applied to the payment method on file
  • We will send you a renewal reminder email at least seven (7) days before the renewal date, informing you of the upcoming charge, the renewal amount, and the renewal date
  • If the renewal price has changed from your current rate, the reminder will clearly indicate the new price
  • If your payment method fails at the time of renewal, we will attempt to process the payment up to three (3) additional times over the following seven (7) days
  • If all payment attempts fail, your subscription may be suspended or downgraded (see Section 9: Failed Payments)

You may disable auto-renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@kulrakshak.com. Disabling auto-renewal will not cancel your current subscription — you will continue to have access to your plan's features until the end of the current billing period.

6) Free Trial (If Applicable)

KulRakshak may, from time to time, offer free trial periods for certain subscription plans. Free trials allow you to explore the platform's features before committing to a paid subscription.

Free Trial Terms

  • Free trial duration and eligible plans will be specified at the time of the offer
  • You may be required to provide payment information to start a free trial
  • Only one free trial is available per user, per household, per payment method
  • Free trial eligibility is determined by KulRakshak at its sole discretion
  • Certain premium features or add-on services may not be included in the free trial

What Happens After the Trial

  • At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the plan's then-current price
  • You will receive a reminder email at least three (3) days before the trial ends, with information about the upcoming charge
  • To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial period expires
  • If you cancel during the trial, you retain access until the trial end date
  • Data and documents stored during the trial will be retained upon conversion to a paid plan

KulRakshak reserves the right to modify, limit, or discontinue free trial offers at any time without prior notice. Abuse of free trial offers (including creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials) is a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in account termination.

7) Upgrades & Downgrades

KulRakshak allows you to change your subscription plan at any time to better suit your evolving needs. The following terms apply to plan changes:

Upgrading Your Plan

  • You may upgrade to a higher-tier plan at any time through your account settings
  • Upon upgrading, you will gain immediate access to the features and benefits of the new plan
  • The price difference between your current plan and the new plan will be calculated on a prorated basis for the remaining days in your current billing cycle
  • The prorated amount will be charged to your payment method on file at the time of upgrade
  • Your billing cycle will reset to align with the new plan's activation date, or continue on the existing cycle — as displayed during the upgrade process
  • Any unused credits or prepaid amounts from the current plan will be applied toward the upgraded plan

Downgrading Your Plan

  • You may downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time through your account settings
  • The downgrade will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle — you retain access to your current plan's features until then
  • No prorated refund will be issued for the remaining period of the current higher-tier plan
  • Upon downgrade, features exclusive to the higher-tier plan will become unavailable
  • If your stored data exceeds the lower-tier plan's storage limit, you will be prompted to reduce your stored data before the downgrade takes effect
  • Nominee slots, consultation hours, and other plan-specific quotas will be adjusted to the lower-tier limits

⚠️ Important Notes on Plan Changes:

  • Plan changes may result in changes to your billing date depending on the new plan's billing cycle
  • Promotional or discounted pricing on your current plan may not carry over to the new plan
  • If you are on an annual plan and wish to downgrade, the downgrade will take effect at the end of the annual period
  • KulRakshak is not responsible for any data, features, or configurations that become inaccessible due to a voluntary downgrade

8) Pricing Changes

KulRakshak reserves the right to modify the pricing of its subscription plans at any time. Pricing changes may result from increased operational costs, new feature additions, market conditions, regulatory changes, or other business considerations.

📢 How Pricing Changes Are Handled:

  1. New Subscribers: Updated pricing will apply to all new subscriptions from the effective date of the change. New pricing will be clearly displayed on the Website's pricing page
  2. Existing Subscribers (Monthly Plans): You will be notified at least thirty (30) days before the new price takes effect. The updated price will apply starting from your next billing cycle after the notice period
  3. Existing Subscribers (Annual Plans): Your current annual rate is locked in for the duration of your active billing period. The new price will apply upon your next renewal. You will be notified at least thirty (30) days before your renewal date if the renewal price has changed
  4. Grandfathered Pricing: KulRakshak may, at its discretion, offer grandfathered pricing to long-term or early subscribers. If such pricing applies to you, it will be explicitly communicated and confirmed in writing
  5. Your Options: If you do not agree with a pricing change, you may downgrade to a different plan, cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect, or contact us to discuss available options

Continuing to use the Services after a pricing change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated pricing. We are committed to keeping our pricing fair, transparent, and competitive.

9) Failed Payments & Subscription Suspension

If your subscription payment fails — whether due to insufficient funds, expired card details, payment gateway issues, or any other reason — the following process will apply:

  1. First Attempt (Day 0): Payment fails on the scheduled billing date. You will receive an immediate email and/or SMS notification informing you of the failure and requesting that you update your payment information
  2. Second Attempt (Day 3): We will automatically retry the payment three (3) days after the initial failure. If successful, your subscription continues uninterrupted
  3. Third Attempt (Day 7): A second retry will be attempted seven (7) days after the initial failure. You will receive an additional reminder notification
  4. Final Attempt (Day 10): A final payment retry will be attempted ten (10) days after the initial failure. This is the last automatic attempt
  5. Grace Period Ends (Day 14): If all payment attempts fail within fourteen (14) days, your subscription will be suspended

During Suspension

  • Access to premium subscription features will be restricted
  • Your account and data will not be deleted during the suspension period
  • Read-only access to your Digital Vault may be maintained for a limited period at KulRakshak's discretion
  • Nominee access configurations will be paused
  • You will not be able to upload new documents or use premium tools

Reactivation

  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time during or after suspension by updating your payment method and completing the outstanding payment
  • Upon reactivation, full access will be restored immediately
  • All previously stored data, documents, and configurations will be preserved
  • A new billing cycle will commence from the date of reactivation
  • If reactivation does not occur within ninety (90) days of suspension, your account may be flagged for data retention review

KulRakshak will make reasonable efforts to contact you through multiple channels (email, SMS, phone) during the grace period before suspending your subscription. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment information is current and valid at all times.

10) Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your KulRakshak subscription at any time. We believe in fair and transparent cancellation terms — no hidden penalties, no forced commitments.

📋 How to Cancel:

  • Self-Service: Log in to your account, navigate to "Account Settings" → "Subscription" → "Cancel Subscription," and follow the on-screen instructions
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to info@kulrakshak.com from your registered email address with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation Request"
  • Phone: Call us at +91 9990184509 during business hours (Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST) to request cancellation
  • All cancellation requests will be acknowledged within forty-eight (48) hours with a confirmation email

Monthly Plan Cancellation

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period
  • You retain full access to all features until the end of the paid period
  • No partial refunds for unused days within the current month
  • No cancellation fees or penalties apply

Annual Plan Cancellation

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual billing period
  • You retain full access to all features for the remainder of the annual term
  • No prorated refund for the unused portion of the annual period
  • No cancellation fees or penalties apply

📦 What Happens to Your Data After Cancellation:

  • Upon cancellation, your account will transition to an inactive state at the end of the current billing period
  • You will receive a data export reminder at least seven (7) days before your access ends, prompting you to download your documents and records from the Digital Vault
  • After your access ends, your data will be retained in a secure, encrypted state for sixty (60) days to allow for reactivation
  • If you do not reactivate within sixty (60) days, your data will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted, unless retention is required by law
  • You may request immediate data deletion at the time of cancellation if you do not wish to retain the sixty (60) day window

11) Refund Policy

KulRakshak is committed to fair and transparent refund practices. The following refund terms apply to subscription payments:

💰 Refund Eligibility:

  1. Cooling-Off Period: If you are a first-time subscriber, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of your initial subscription activation, provided you have not extensively used the Services (e.g., uploaded more than 10 documents or initiated a service request). This cooling-off period applies only to the first subscription purchase
  2. Duplicate Charges: If you are charged more than once for the same billing cycle due to a payment processing error, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full upon verification
  3. Service Failure: If KulRakshak fails to provide access to the subscribed Services for a continuous period of more than seventy-two (72) hours due to reasons within our control (excluding scheduled maintenance, force majeure, or third-party issues), you may be eligible for a prorated credit or refund for the affected period
  4. Overcharges: If you are charged an incorrect amount due to a pricing display error or system glitch, the excess amount will be refunded upon verification
  5. Plan Upgrade Errors: If you are inadvertently upgraded to a higher plan without your consent, the additional charges will be reversed, and your plan will be restored to the original tier

🚫 Non-Refundable Situations:

  • Cancellation of a monthly subscription after the current billing cycle has commenced (beyond the 7-day cooling-off period for first-time subscribers)
  • Cancellation of an annual subscription after the 7-day cooling-off period
  • Voluntary plan downgrades — the price difference is not refundable
  • Non-use of the Services during an active subscription period
  • Suspension due to violation of Terms and Conditions or this Policy
  • Service disruptions caused by factors outside KulRakshak's control (internet outages, third-party failures, force majeure events)
  • Add-on services or one-time engagement fees (governed by separate agreements)

To request a refund, contact us at info@kulrakshak.com with the subject line "Refund Request" along with your account details, subscription plan, payment date, and the reason for your request. Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within ten (10) business days of receipt.

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days, depending on your bank or payment provider's processing timelines. KulRakshak is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or banks.

12) Promotional Offers & Discounts

KulRakshak may, from time to time, offer promotional pricing, discount codes, referral credits, seasonal offers, or other special pricing arrangements.

Promotional Terms

  • Promotional offers are valid for the period and on the terms specified at the time of the offer
  • Unless explicitly stated otherwise, promotional pricing applies only to the initial subscription period and regular pricing will apply upon renewal
  • Promotional codes are single-use, non-transferable, and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly permitted
  • KulRakshak reserves the right to modify or discontinue any promotional offer at any time without prior notice
  • Promotional pricing cannot be applied retroactively to existing subscriptions

Referral Program

  • KulRakshak may offer a referral program where existing users earn credits or discounts for referring new subscribers
  • Referral rewards are subject to the specific terms of the referral program at the time of the referral
  • Both the referrer and the referred user must maintain active, valid accounts to qualify for rewards
  • Self-referrals, fraudulent referrals, and bulk referral schemes are prohibited and may result in account suspension
  • KulRakshak reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time

Any misuse, abuse, or fraudulent redemption of promotional offers or referral credits may result in the revocation of the offer, reversal of the discount, and potential suspension or termination of your account.

13) Taxes & Compliance

All subscription fees displayed on the Website are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per Indian tax laws, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the pricing page or invoice.

KulRakshak is responsible for collecting and remitting GST to the appropriate government authorities. The applicable GST rate will be reflected in your invoice and payment receipt.

If you are subscribing on behalf of a business entity and require a GST invoice with your company's GSTIN for input tax credit purposes, please provide your GSTIN during the subscription process or contact us at info@kulrakshak.com to update your billing information.

You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transaction costs that may be levied by your bank, payment provider, or tax authority in connection with your subscription payment. KulRakshak shall not be responsible for such additional charges.

14) Account Suspension & Termination by KulRakshak

In addition to suspension due to failed payments (Section 9), KulRakshak reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription and account access in the following circumstances:

  1. Terms Violation: Breach of any provision of the Terms and Conditions, this Subscription Policy, or any other applicable KulRakshak policy
  2. Fraudulent Activity: Submission of fraudulent, forged, or misleading documents or information
  3. Misuse: Using the Services for any illegal, unethical, or harmful purpose, or in a manner that disrupts the platform for other users
  4. Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials, promotional offers, or referral programs
  5. Security Threat: Activities that pose a security risk to the platform, other users, or KulRakshak's infrastructure
  6. Legal Requirement: Suspension or termination required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or government directive
  7. Abusive Behavior: Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct toward KulRakshak staff, partners, or other users

Where possible, KulRakshak will provide notice before suspending or terminating your account and give you an opportunity to address the issue. However, in cases of serious violations, fraud, or security threats, we may take immediate action without prior notice.

Upon termination by KulRakshak due to a policy violation, no refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention practices.

15) Service Level Commitments

KulRakshak strives to maintain a high standard of service availability and performance. While we do not offer formal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for consumer subscription plans, we commit to the following standards:

  • Availability Target: We aim for 99.5% uptime for the Website and core Services, measured on a monthly basis (excluding scheduled maintenance windows)

If we fail to meet these commitments due to reasons within our control for an extended period, affected subscribers may be eligible for service credits or prorated refunds as described in Section 11 (Refund Policy).
